I bought a 3 burner Weber Spirit II E-310 to replace a Weber that I had for over 25 years. In the summer, I usually grill 2-3 time per week so it will see plenty of use. You pay more for a Weber but the other junk grills you have to replace every 3-5 years. This grill has a 10 year warranty but I expect it to last longer than that. Some things that have changed in 25 years: 1. The hood is not as deep so I don't think I will be cooking any 12 lb turkeys any more. 2. Instead of two cross-hatching rows of flavorizer bars there is only one and I think it affects how evenly the grill cooks. 3. I haven't had a working electronic starter in 20 years so that is nice but we will see if it lasts. 4. The gauge for the propane tank is less accurate. It used to have a sliding scale, now there are some sort of buttons. Jury is out. 5. The temperature seems much higher to produce same results. Where before I would set the grill on 350 now it is 450 to get same results....see flavorizer bar discussion. It probably isn't fair to compare a new Weber to a 25 year old Weber that I loved. Some things I already like: 1. Strong solid construction. 2. Great grill grates seasoned well with the application of oil before cooking. 3. The new spider prevention guard...those critters get in there fast. 4. Three burners are a must., always if you like to cook in zones. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase. I'm sure I will get to know it's quirks and produce better results. One things I am absolutely sure of that my Weber is better than any other grill on the market. I expect to get many years of use out of it which will pay off the higher initial cost.

Im not mechanically inclined but put this together in about 2 hrs and the instructions were clear. I've had it 6 months from November into April and just did a good deep cleaning. Its easy to take apart for cleaning and i would surely recommend the weber sprays to get the grease off the grate and the inside. If you are cooking small veggies they will fall in between the grates such as brussel sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower so get one of the veggie cooking pads to prevent that. It has 3 burners and gets to 500 degrees in no time. Again i have to say the assembly wasnt hard and taking it apart to deep clean it is a breeze. An additional feature i really like is the gauge which tells you how much propane you have left (which is basically a scale based on how heavy the propane tank is, as it gets lighter the scale tells you to start getting ready to replace it). You wont know exactly how much gas you have left but its a good indicator and better than nothing. I bought the weber cover that goes with it and kept it outside all winter in Chicago and its still working like a champ and we are talking sub zero temps and alot of snow. I even grilled during the winter and had no problems. I have 3 kids and a wife and theres plenty of room for all the chicken, burgers and hot dogs we would need

Very happy with this grill so far. The materials are high quality. I love the cast iron grates. Used it last night to grill some steak, vegetables, and veggie burgers and everything turned out great. The grill got really hot really fast. I love the sapphire color. It was very easy to put together and the directions are very clear. It probably took me 1-2 hours to put it together at a pretty leisurely pace. The only problem I had was that one of the plastic tabs on the control panel arrived broken. I was still able to assemble it and use it. I called Weber customer service and they ordered me a new one. It will be easy to replace the broken one once it arrives. The suggested cover by Amazon (i.e., frequently bought with) is wrong. The official Weber cover also seems overpriced to me. I ended up purchasing this one and it works and fits great (with the side up): SunPatio Heavy Duty Waterproof Barbecue Gas Grill Cover, 55-inch BBQ Cover, Durable and Convenient, Fits Grills of Weber Char-Broil Nexgrill Brinkmann and More, 55”x23”x42”, Desert Sand
